A popular and attractively developed park, Polmanter is located high up at the back of Saint Ives with wonderful sea and countryside views. The Osborne family has worked hard to develop Polmanter as a complete family base. Converted farm buildings provide a cosy lounge bar with a conservatory overlooking the heated swimming pool.

The 250 touring pitches (no caravan holiday homes) are well-spaced in several fields divided by established shrubs and hedges, giving large, level, individual pitches with connecting tarmac roads. There is a choice of grass and hardstanding multi-serviced pitches with electricity, water, wastewater and TV point, serviced pitches with 16A electricity and non-serviced tent pitches.

It is a busy park with a happy atmosphere within 1.5 miles of Saint Ives. A footpath leads from the park (20 minutes downhill) or there is a bus service from the park in high season (hourly, 10.00-23.00). A member of the Best of British group.

Location

Take A3074 to St Ives from A30, then first left at a mini roundabout taking Holiday Route (B3311) to St Ives (Halsetown). At T-junction, turn right for Halsetown, right again at the Halsetown Inn then first left.
