With views across the fjord and over the mountains, ever changing in the sunlight, you can be assured of a peaceful, relaxing stay here. Although somewhat off the busy tourist routes, it is still possible to take scenic drives to popular destinations including Ålesund, Runde and Gerainger. A shorter drive takes you to the beach at Revik. The campsite has 30 pitches with electricity laid out on terraces rising from its small private harbour, beach and jetty on the edge of Nordfjord. Boats and canoes are available for hire to explore a number of inlets and islands nearby and fishing opportunities are numerous.
Other popular destinations include the highest sea cliff in northern Europe which rises to 870 m. and Vestkapp may lure you further west. Kannesteinen is also something to add to the list of attractions. The campsite’s logo shows a distinctive peak to tempt the experienced walkers and other less strenuous walks can be found. Fishermen are well provided for with a good, covered cleaning and preparation facility by the fjord.
