Alan Rogers Review

Piccadilly Caravan Park is set in open countryside close to several attractions, notably Longleat, Bath, Salisbury Plain, Stourhead, and the picturesque village of Lacock itself. You will receive a warm welcome from the owner at this small, quiet family owned park that is beautifully maintained. Well kept shrubs, flowers and trees have been landscaped to provide three separate areas and create a very pleasant ambience. There are 45 well spaced, clearly marked pitches, 12 of which have hardstanding, and 42 have electricity (10A). Two areas have been made available for tents. A bus service runs from Lacock village to Chippenham (entry to the Chippenham museum and Heritage centre is free of charge).

Lacock Abbey was once the home of Henry Fox-Talbot, pioneer of photography, and there is now a museum in the village.

Two heated toilet blocks are well maintained and equipped. No facilities for disabled visitors. Laundry room. Ice pack service. Playground and a large, grass ball play area. Limited gas supplies. Newspapers can be ordered. WiFi (free).
