Pennymoor Caravan and Camping Park in Modbury, South Hams, South Devon is a delightful and spacious 15 acre rural camping and caravan site which enjoys spectacular panoramic views of Dartmoor and the Devon countryside and which is just a few minutes from the beaches of Bigbury-on-Sea, Banthem and Hope Cove.

Surrounded by the South Devon Area of Outstanding Beauty and overlooked by Dartmoor National Park, it is perfect for walking, cycling, hiking, and trekking. Kingsbridge, Salcombe, Totnes. Dartmoor, Modbury, Ivybridge and Plymouth are all within easy reach. If you have a touring caravan you will be pleased with the easy access to plenty of space to enjoy the stunning views and summer sunsets. The site has 119 grass or hardstanding pitches with electric hook-up point (some seasonal). There is also a Lodge and Mobile homes available to hire.

Location

From the M5 continue on the A38 until at Wrangaton Cross signpost to Ermington (also signpost for Park and Ride to Plymouth via British Rail sign). Take left turn at T junction. Go one mile to crossroads. Turn right onto the A3121. Travel five miles, take the first exit at the roundabout and join the A379 toward Kingsbridge and Modbury. Continue through Modbury (it's still the best route to be on). One mile after Modbury, turn left at Harraton Cross. Pennymoor is 1 mile on the left just after 'The Thatches'. Alternatively for cars and smaller campervans, at the A3121 crossroads, continue straight across, and after 3 miles you will pass a petrol station on your left and the California Inn on your right. Take the second left turn after the petrol station. The site is one mile on the right.
