Peel House Farm Caravan Park is an adults only site that provides you the perfect opportunity to explore the beautiful Sussex countryside. It is perfectly located in acres of farmland, overlooked by cows, sheep and horses with access to the Cuckoo Trail (a disused former Cuckoo Line 'steam rail track' that stretches from Eastbourne Park to Heathfield). Hop on your bicycle and pedal traffic-free for 14 miles, or perhaps take a gentle stroll towards the South Downs newest National Park, an ideal opportunity to ponder the amazing views, digest the local tea rooms and the delightful traditional pubs. The nearest towns are the market town of Hailsham and Polegate. The site has 20 touring pitches (some seasonal) most with electric hook-up point. There are also mobile homes available to hire.

Nearby are Herstmonceux Science and visitor centre, Pevensey levels, Abbots Wood nature reserve, Drusillas Zoo, Seven Sisters Country park and walks, Beachy Head, Knockhatch Adventure Park, Eastbourne Miniture Railway, Numerous Walks & Cycle Routes in local area.

Location

From the south, leave A22 at roundabout to join A295. Continue on this road to a mini roundabout with a BP garage (M&S) on the left. Turn three quarters round to join B2104 signposted Pevensey. Follow B2104 over traffic lights at Cuckoo Trail. Pass Water World on right. The site is now on the right before sharp left-hand bend. NB the site is accessed via the B2104 & NOT Sayerland Lane which is a single track. From the north, leave A22 at the roundabout signed Hailsham Industrial Estate. After leaving the roundabout, at the next roundabout take 2nd exit onto Diplocks Way. Follow this to the A295 and turn left to mini roundabout with a BP garage (M&S) on the left. Turn three quarters round to join B2104. Now continue as above.
