Alan Rogers Review
Previously known as Recreatiepark Droomgaard, EuroParcs Kaatsheuvel has two recent fields with 900 pitches in total and 500 touring pitches. Although still little bare, young trees are growing. All touring pitches have 10A electricity, water, drainage and a cable connection. In high season the recreation team put together a programme for children (details from reception). The youngest can experience weekly adventures, attend art and craft classes and participate in theatre, six days a week, three times a day. Older children can enjoy other lively and exciting activities.
The biggest attraction is, of course, the fairytale De Efteling theme park. If you are looking for fun and entertainment, then this site is for you. There are opportunities for water based activities and a beach at the lake at Tilburg.
Four toilet buildings (two new) with toilets, washbasins (some in cabins), showers. Toilets for children and baby room. Laundry. When we visited standards of cleanliness could have been higher. Large supermarket. Café/entertainment hall. Restaurant. Snack bar. Bar. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools with paddling pool, water slides. Play areas. Tennis. Minigolf. Bicycle hire. Gas. Extensive activity programme in high season for youngsters. Dancing. WiFi (charged).
LocationFrom Tilburg drive to the north and go left into the village of Kaatsheuvel. From there follow signs to the site. Link to campsite location map on google
