Nysted Strand Camping is set on the southern edge of Lolland island and prides itself on its natural, unspoilt surroundings. It is a restful, serene spot with mature beech trees, birdsong, clear waters and wonderful sea views. The beach is one of Denmark's most beautiful child-friendly beaches, being safe and great for shrimping. With Nysted bay on one side and the Baltic Sea on the other side, the campsite is an ideal location for a relaxing, fun holiday.

Take a kayak and potter about on the shoreline, or rent bikes from the campsite, then head out onto the sleepy little country lanes, following the coast or exploring the forests and picturesque villages. The little harbour town of Nysted is within walking distance, with a good range of shops, eateries, and its own lovely beach - look out for seals in summer. Kids enjoy pony rides, the trampoline and pedal cars.

Nysted harbour is situated just ten minutes from the camping site, a lovely walk along the coast / bay. Nysted is the smallest market town in Denmark and one of the oldest, which is illustrated by the town’s old half-timbered houses and the rugged cobblestones
