Newtown Cove Camping Park
Ireland, South East, Co. Waterford, Tramore
Alan Rogers Review
Well run and friendly, this attractive small park is only five minutes walk from the beautiful Newtown Cove. It offers views of the famous and historic Metal Man and is 2.5 km from Tramore beach and 11 km south of Waterford. The busy holiday resort of Tramore offers a wide range of shops and eateries and there are many delightful cliff walks close by. The historic town of Waterford is attractive and the Waterford Crystal Centre is a popular visit. The Copper Coast towards Dungarvan is popular for its craggy cliffs, secret coves and windswept sandy beaches.
Some 40 pitches are neatly laid out on gently sloping grass, with 30 of these on hardstanding. They are open and sunny, all with 10A Europlug, and access is by well lit, tarmac roads. There are around 56 privately owned caravan holiday homes. A modern building at the entrance houses reception, the amenities and additional sanitary facilities.
The main sanitary block at the bottom end of the site provides good, clean facilities including a bathroom. Showers on payment (token from reception). Additional toilet facilities in reception. Excellent motorhome services. Campers’ kitchen with cooking facilities, sheltered eating area, lounge and small laundry. Small shop (July/Aug). TV room. Games room. Small play area. WiFi throughout (charged).
To Tramore on R675 coast road to Dungarvan. Turn right at 2nd roundabout in Tramore and follow signs for site. Turn left at roundabout after golf club, then immediately right at next junction. After 400 m. take left fork and site is immediately on left.Link to campsite location map on google
