Set in an idyllic location in North Devon, this popular, family run site offers peace and quiet on site, with plenty to see and do off site. A path just outside the gates leads down to a private beach with safe bathing; although it is only 200 yards to the gate, there are 200 steps down to the beach so it is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with walking difficulties. Combe Martin and Ilfracombe beaches are also close by. The 200 touring pitches (100 hardstandings), most with views of Watermouth Bay, are terraced and spacious, 95 are serviced with electricity, water tap and waste point, and another 70 have a 16A hook-up. The toilet blocks are a long way from the pitches.
An outdoor heated swimming pool with shallow section for children is unsupervised, but there is a terrace with table and chairs for non-swimmers to watch or enjoy a meal from the Bistro. Light entertainment is organised during the high season. The local pub (300 yards down the lane) offers snacks, a beer garden, restaurant and entertainment.
