Namsos Camping is located at Namsen's outlet, about a 5-minute car ride from the centre of Namsos. The site is situated in scenic surroundings, and the pitches are located right next to the site’s beach, some a little further away. The campsite has 54 touring pitches and 31 log cabins available to hire; 52 hardstanding pitches have electric hook-up 16 amp. Water and wastewater drains are available on some of them.

Namsos Camping is committed to providing a family-friendly atmosphere, catering to the needs of both children and adults. The campsite features a well-equipped playground a mini-golf course, and fishing is available from the shores of the river, providing activities for the whole family. After a day of exploring, Namsos Camping's shop offers access to essential supplies. Additionally, the campsite features a barbecue area where you can gather with friends and family and cook a delicious meal.

For those seeking more adventurous activities whilst staying at this campsite, the starting point of the Draisine cycling is right next to the site. Draisine cycling is a unique form of rail biking that allows you to explore the beautiful surroundings along a disused railway line. You can cycle from the campsite northwards in a varied landscape where you pass bridges, swimming areas, picnic areas and lots of beautiful nature.

Directions to Namsos Camping

Location Directions. From Trondheim on E6 continue to Stjordal, Verdalsora and Steinkjer. Turn west just north of Steinkjer, at Asp, onto the coastal route FV 17 towards Namsos. After about 80 km you get to Spillum. Continue on Fv 17 and cross the river. Take the first right turn and the site is on this road.
