Alan Rogers Review
Owned by Parkdean Holidays, this is a large, neat and well maintained park situated immediately behind the sand dunes of a very lovely beach. There is a golf course at the back of it. Nairn Lochloy is primarily for caravan holiday homes, but a small area is allocated for touring caravans and tents. On a small, fairly level grassy area there are just 13 pitches, ten with 12A electricity. The touring site is situated next to the children’s play area with a small toilet block at the side – the only one on site. It could be busy at weekends and during the main holiday season.
As with the other Parkdean parks, there is lots to do here for families looking for entertainment, including an indoor pool, play areas, crazy golf and daily entertainment and activities. The river at the side is channelled into the sea with boats using this channel to reach the harbour. A bridge over the river allows access to the harbour and local restaurants. A short walk will take you into the town. An award-winning nature trail has been created around the park.
The small toilet block is modern. Launderette on the opposite side of the block and is also used for dishwashing. Gas supplies. Supermarket. Restaurant, takeaway and lounge bar. Well maintained indoor heated swimming pool with lifeguard. Sauna and sun bed. Amusement arcade. Crazy golf. Play areas. Daily entertainment. Children’s club (4-10 yrs). ATM. No smoking rule in indoor facilities.
Travelling from the east and entering Nairn on the A96, site is signed to the right just before the river bridge.Link to campsite location map on google
