Alan Rogers Review
Strensall is only a few miles from York, one of England’s most attractive cities and Moorside Caravan Park will provide a peaceful haven after a day’s sightseeing. Children (under 16) are not accepted at this park. It will impress you with its pretty fishing lake, many flowers and the tranquillity (except for the odd passing daytime train). There are 50 marked touring pitches on neat well trimmed grass, with 6/10A electricity and 22 with paved hardstanding. The whole park is very well maintained making it a very pleasant environment. The small lake is well stocked for coarse fishing and the pitches bordering the lake are the most popular.
Set in the heart of Strensall Common, with York golf course close to the site entrance.
The purpose built toilet block can be heated and houses immaculately kept facilities with washbasins in cubicles for ladies. Separate facility for disabled visitors. Fully equipped laundry room. Tourist information and books to borrow. Coarse fishing (£3 per day). Caravan storage. WiFi (free).
