Alan Rogers Review
Located in the pretty Victorian spa town of Moffat, the Moffat Camping and Caravanning Club Site is perfectly located as a stop off en-route to the highlands or for discovering the lowland hills of Dumfries and Galloway.
Local attractions include the Star Hotel, reputedly the narrowest hotel in the world. Moffat high street is topped by the statue of Colvin Ram. There is a weekly market on Fridays and an annual walking festival in October.
This well laid out site has a good range of well-placed facilities including a chemical toilet disposal point, toilet/shower blocks, washing machines and electrical hook-up points.
