Alan Rogers Review

Near the Purbeck hills, this is a small, rural park beside, but not part of, a working farm. David and Gillian Topp own and carefully run this simple park which is set in a hedged, level field, semi-broken up by evergreens. It provides 50 level, well spaced pitches, 30 for touring units, with 43 electrical connections (16A), on neatly cut grass. An ice pack service and gas exchange are provided and there is a sturdy play unit for children. East Stoke village has a pub, Wool is two miles with a pub and shops. Wareham and Swanage are near.

The timber-clad toilet block (key system) is at the top of the field and is adequate inside, providing all necessary facilities and kept very clean. Showers are metered (small charge). A toilet for disabled visitors is in the men’s room. Small shop for basics (all season). Small play area. Caravan storage. Dogs are accepted at the discretion of the owner.

Off A352 Wareham-Wool road, turn into lane by church, over manned level crossing and park is 0.5 miles on right. Or from B3070 turn right signed East Stoke, then next right signed Manor Farm and site is on left.
