Alan Rogers Review of Lytton Lawn Touring Park
Lytton Lawn is the touring arm of Shorefield Country Park, a nearby holiday home park and leisure centre. Set in eight acres, it provides 135 marked pitches with some seasonal available. These include 53 premier pitches (hardstanding, 16A electricity, pitch light, water and waste water outlet) in a grassy, hedged area – this section, with its heated toilet block, is open for a longer season. The rest of the pitches, all with electricity, are in the adjoining, but separate, sloping field, edged with mature trees and hedges and with a further toilet block. The larger reception and well stocked shop make this a good, comfortable, self-sufficient site.
Visitors to Lytton Lawn are entitled to use the comprehensive leisure facilities at Shorefield itself (2.5 miles away). These include a very attractive indoor pool, solarium, sauna and spa, fitness classes and treatments, all weather tennis courts, outdoor pools, restaurant facilities and entertainment and activity programmes. They are of a very good standard and mostly free (extra charges are made for certain activities including the ‘Reflections’ day spa).

Two modern toilet blocks are well fitted. Washing machine and dryer. Baby changing. Accessible sanitary facilities (Radar key). Motorhome services. Large shop (Feb-Dec). Small fenced play area and hedged field with goal posts. Tents to rent. Games room with free WiFi.

From M27 follow signs for Lyndhurst and Lymington on A337. Continue towards New Milton and Lytton Lawn is signed at Everton, entrance down narrow lane (Shorefield is signed at Downton).
