Alan Rogers Review
Lynmouth Holiday Retreat is a quiet park situated in a sunny, south-facing position overlooking Lynton and Lynmouth. The park is divided into two areas, an open area that is sheltered by bushes and trees, and one that is more exposed but enjoys panoramic views over the coast. The gently sloping ground provides fairly level pitches with 31 touring pitches, 17 have 16A electricity and the remainder are fully serviced. The grass is well cared for and there is site lighting, although a torch would be useful.
A small shop is located with reception and is well stocked. There is a freezer for ice packs, a public telephone and a play area for children. The Country Inn pub next door serves bar food.
With a brand new facilities block for 2021, the park has modern and well appointed male and female shower and toilet facilities. There is also a disabled, family with baby changing and private bathroom. EasyBe dishwasher (6 min cycle), washing up area, freezer blocks. Laundry with ironing facilities and dog washing area. Small reception shop, Wi-Fi throughout, fresh water taps across the park as well as dog walking areas with dog bins.
For all larger campervans, motorhomes and touring caravans, we advise you approach from the West via Barbrook on the A39. Access is available from the East on the A39 via Hillsford Bridge, but there are steep hairpin bends.Link to campsite location map on google
