Lough Lannagh is an attractive holiday village on the lakeshore, which comprises quality accommodation, self-catering cottages and a caravan park. A lakeside path takes you into Castlebar (15-minute stroll) with its many restaurants, pubs, theatres and shops. County Mayo’s main attractions are also within a short drive.
The caravan park has 20 touring pitches, well laid out in a separate dedicated corner of the village, all on hardstanding with electric connections. There is a separate grass area for tents. One reception area serves all and is situated to the right of the security barrier; check-in prior to 18:00. There are many on-site activities for all the family.
Facilities at Lough Lannagh Caravan Park
One modern heated sanitary block provides washbasins and well equipped, preset showers. En-suite accessible unit (has a bath but now shower). Laundry room with sink, washing machines and dryers near reception. Café serving breakfast (daily), snacks, lunch etc. Two play areas. Boules. Badminton. Tennis. Lakeside circular walk. Dogs accepted by prior arrangement.
Directions to Lough Lannagh Caravan Park
To get to Castlebar take the N5, N60 or N84. At Castlebar ring road follow directions for Westport. Site is signed on all approach roads to the Westport roundabout.
