Alan Rogers Review
This site will appeal to families, particularly those with younger children, or those who prefer to be some way back from the coast within easy reach of shops, cultural activities, etc. and well placed for touring the area. The owners are keen to make improvements to what is already a very pleasant site with 145 good sized pitches. There are 62 pitches for touring units all of which have 10A electricity; a number of Grand Confort pitches have TV, water and drainage connections. The site benefits from being developed in light woodland so there is a fair amount of shade from the many small trees.
A range of excursions is possible by bus to Saint Sebastian, Lourdes, etc. and the nearby Calicéo aquatic centre is recommended. English is spoken. Dax is a busy spa town with many attractions – les Pins du Soleil is actually at Saint Paul-lès-Dax, some 3 km. from Dax itself.
Sanitary facilities include washbasins, hot showers and provision for disabled visitors. Laundry. Motorcaravan services. Small supermarket (1/6-31/10). Weekly market (June-Sept). Bar. Takeaway. Attractive, medium sized swimming pool with café, new paddling pool and jacuzzi (all 2/6-15/9). Gym. Playground (5-10 yrs) and miniclub in high season. Covered entertainment area.

From west on N124, avoid bypass, follow signs for Dax and St Paul. Almost immediately turn right at roundabout onto D459 and follow signs. Site shortly on left. It is well signed from town centre, north of river.
