This back to basics campsite has two springs and a stream flowing into a small marsh and 10 km. of forest roads in private woodland, an idyllic location, but with a risk of mosquitos following a period of rain. On the east coast of the Sithonia peninsula, the setting is stunning.

The 120 pitches that are suitable for caravans (out of a total of 250) are small, on dry ground with little grass and set among trees leading down to a sandy beach. Pitches are marked by low wooden rails, and the buildings are of very basic construction. All the toilets are Turkish style.

The closest village of any size is Vourvourou, a small fishing village with a handful of tavernas and seafood restaurants. Boat hire is available here or if you're feeling active, you could take the trail to the top of Mt. Itamos which offers vistas of the villages and bays below.

Facilities

A number of basic toilet blocks include showers, WCs (mainly squat style) and washbasins. Kitchens. Laundry with washing machine. Beach bar. Small shop. Restaurant. Sandy beach. Bamboo huts and wooden bungalows to rent. Tennis.

Location

Although the postal address is Nikiti the site is some considerable way south. Take the east coast road of Sithonia and site is 16 km. south of Vourvourou.
