Alan Rogers Review

This attractively landscaped site, with direct access from the main road, is 10 km. from Krakow. It is down a slope, some 100 m. back from the road, so is not noisy and it has lovely views over the village. The site is terraced, but caravans and motorcaravans tend to use a flat area near the toilet block. Tent pitches are slightly sloping. It is a family run site that takes about 100 units, all with 6A electricity, and pitches are separated by trees. To the back of the site is a large pond for fishing (well fenced) and a large, covered barbecue area.

There are buses from the main road into Krakow, but each evening the owner will ask if anyone wishes to make the trip and if he finds ten people, will take them in his own minibus for a small charge. Similarly he will take people to the Wieliczka salt mines (16 km). Ausschwitz is 64 km. and impressive enough to spend a day there.

One modern toilet block (could be under pressure in high season) with hot showers (temperature can be variable) and washbasins, all clean and well maintained. Baby bath in both sections. Shop. Bar with open air terrace and some basics. Fishing pond. Playing field. Playground. WiFi and internet access. Trips to Kraków and the Wieliczka salt mines.

Site is 10 km. south of Kraków off the E77 Kraków -Zakopane road. Take care because access to the site is directly off the motorway and is particularly difficult when coming from Zakopane because one has to cross the motorway.
