Alan Rogers Review

Kings Oak Farm is an adults-only 'Certified Site' campsite set in the heart of the Kentish countryside, near the busy Wealden village of Headcorn. This grassland farm consists of approximately 80 acres and a further 120 acres at nearby Roundoak, its sister farm and well-established campsite based a mile away in Sutton Valence. The farm is a unique set-up where you can find rare breed cows grazing in the fields next to the campsite. The site has generous sized touring pitches on the level mowed grass, all with 16-Amp hookups. You can also find two hard standing pitches located at the front of the campsite near the farm buildings. The site has secure coded access gates and security cameras, and the camping area is gated and fenced away from the main farm buildings.

Dogs are allowed on site but must be kept on a lead at all times. The campsite is basic but has recently invested in a new container loo with shower and an extra portaloo with the intention of building a ramp for disabled access and kitchen/washing up facilities. There are many investments scheduled to take place at this small campsite in the future, including a shop and cafe, repaving the entrance and general improvements, if in the meantime you're looking for solitude, then this could be the site for you.

As the campsite is located in a remote area of the Wealden countryside there is currently no wifi on site. However there is good mobile signal and tv signal. The farm offers quality eggs and meat produced from their own livestock including burgers, steak and sausages and joints of meat. The large village of Headcorn is located 10 minutes from the campsite where you will find a good array of facilities such as a bakery, pub and supermarket.
