Kings Green Caravan Park is owned and run by the Port William Community Association with regular warden visits. All the profits from the site go back into the village for the benefit of the residents.
Kept very natural and situated beside the sea overlooking Luce Bay and the to the Mull & Rhins of Galloway (on some days the Mountains of Mourne in Ireland are visible). To the south sits the Isle of Man. It is situated on the southern fringes of Port William, well known for its harbour and fishing community.
The all grass, open site provides 30 marked and numbered pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents (21 with 16A electricity).
On arrival visitors are given a welcome pack which includes a guide on the history of the area and local information. Second Sands at the northern end of the village is perfect for the launching and recovery of boats at any stage of the tide and provides wheelchair and pushchair access to the beach. You are invited to park and details of reserved pitches are placed on the notice board.
Facilities at Kings Green Caravan Park
The small toilet block (key entry) is kept very clean and has vanity style washbasins, free electric showers and hair dryers. Accessible Facilities f include WC and washbasin (Radar key). Laundry area with dishwashing. Information room always open. Large play and ball game area adjacent. WiFi (free).

From Dumfries, take A75 to Newton Stewart. Follow A714 to Wigtown, then B7085 to Port William.
