Alan Rogers Review
Entering this park through an avenue of trees, you will see on the left the impressive row of stone built kilns which give it its name. The park has a natural setting with trees, shrubs and well tended, mature flowerbeds. The area for touring units is separated from the caravan holiday homes in a large meadow. Here are 130 numbered pitches grouped in hedged areas, all with 13A electricity, 44 ‘super’ pitches with services. An open, unmarked meadow provides 70 pitches for tents without electricity. There are 590 holiday homes, some privately owned, others to rent. This holiday park provides activities and entertainment for the whole family.
Whatever the weather, there is a range of clubs for toddlers to teens, activities for all (with coaching) including tennis, football, archery, fencing to name but a few, plus indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Entertainment is arranged for all ages every evening in the Show Bar and there is plenty of choice available for food and drink, either ‘eat in’ or takeaway. If all this is not enough, leave the car and take a short walk with direct access onto Tenby’s south beach, or a stroll into the picturesque town itself.
Two traditionally built toilet blocks are central to the pitches. Facilities for disabled visitors. Laundry room. Well stocked supermarket, bakery and newsagent. Bars, restaurants, coffee bar, fish and chips and Burger King. Indoor and outdoor heated pools with lifeguards. Sporting activities including coaching. Clubs for children. WiFi (charged).
