Kiko Park Rural
Spain, Comunidad Valenciana, Valencia, Villargordo del Cabriel
Alan Rogers Review
Approaching Kiko Park Rural, you will see a small hilltop village set in a landscape of mountains, vines and a jewel-like lake. Kiko was a small village and farm, and the village now forms the campsite and accommodation. Amenities are contained within the architecturally authentic buildings, some old and some new.
The generous touring pitches (mainly hardstanding and with 6A electricity and water) have high hedges (as does the site) for privacy. Generous planting has been made, which already affords some privacy, and hundreds of trees provide shade. The restaurant serves extremely good food in a pleasant, spacious setting overlooking the pools and their surrounding immaculate lawns.
Kiko Rural is run by cousins from a family with 30 years of camping experience – a passionate and enthusiastic team with a vision of excellence. Kiko Rural is an ideal site for those folk, young and old, who enjoy adventurous activities, communing with nature, or relaxing with an occasional sightseeing excursion. A sister site to Kiko Park in Oliva, Valencia (ES8615), old and new have combined here to create an environment that is, within its category, outstanding. The new high speed Madrid-Valencia train line emerges from a tunnel approximately 500 m. from the site. However, noise moderating banks should minimise problems.
Three toilet blocks are well equipped (but have short timers for lighting and showers), including facilities for disabled campers. Motorhome services. Gas supplies. Pleasant bar. Excellent restaurant (seasonal, also supplies basics, eggs, bread etc). Takeaway (Easter-Oct). Swimming and paddling pools. Very good playground. Bicycle hire. Entertainment in high season. Many adventure activities can be arranged, including white-water rafting, gorging, orienteering, trekking, bungee jumping and riding. Large families and groups catered for.,Pets allowed in bungalows. Pets allowed on the pitch.
From autopista A7/E15 on Valencia ring road (near the airport) take A3 (E901) to the west. Villargordo del Cabriel is 80 km. towards Motilla. Take village exit 255 and follow signs through village and over a hill – spot the village on a hill 2 km. away. That is the campsite!Link to campsite location map on google
