Karrageen is a quiet and peaceful park in a wonderful area of Devon, near Kingsbridge and Salcombe, with a mixture of rolling countryside, hidden coves, cliff tops and sandy beaches. You can walk, sail, surf or just relax and enjoy the wonderful scenery. This is a small family park, run personally by the Higgin family, situated in the hamlet of Bolberry, one mile up the lane from Hope Cove. The main camping field slopes gently with either sea or rural views. It has been terraced with hedging to provide 95 pitches, 70 are on grass for tourers and 54 have 10A electricity.
A number of caravan holiday homes to let complete the provision in a separate field which houses the modern toilet block. The family home across the road from the site provides reception and a licensed shop. Freshly baked baguettes and croissants are available in the mornings if booked the night before. The pretty village of Hope Cove with sandy beaches and rock pools is a mile down the single track lane.
