Alan Rogers Review
Holly House Farm site is extremely well kept, tidy and clean. Lovely views. Water, drainage and electric to each pitch and a small but very clean and useable toilet with shower. Set in the small village of Flagg surrounded by open countryside. The elevated position affords stunning views over the surrounding area. Although the field is slightly sloping, all the pitches have hard standing underneath and are fairly level. Plenty of walking from the site including the Limestone Way which runs in front of the site. There is a bus stop in the village, but the service is limited. The site is close to Bakewell and surrounding villages. No children’s play area but plenty of grass for children to run around and explore. A few pubs within a couple of miles. Magpie mine 5 min drive. Aldi 5/10 mins drive. Ashford in the water 5/10 mins drive. The site has 14 grass pitches, some serviced, all with electricity.
Small toilet block with toilet and shower. Electric hook-up pitches. Outdoor pot washing facilities. Waste point. Several drinking water taps. Pets allowed. Dog walk. Tents allowed. Some serviced pitches. TV reception fair.

From Buxton take the A515 south east towards Ashbourne. Turn left off the A515 (Buxton - Ashbourne) shortly after passing the Duke of York Hotel between a bungalow and the wood onto Stonebench Lane. At crossroads, go ahead on Moor Lane. At T junction turn left onto Mycock Lane at T-junction in village turn left. Site is on the right.
