Alan Rogers Review
Henley Four Oaks Caravan and Motorhome Club site is within walking distance of Henley-on-Thames, noted for its world-famous Regatta. It is a popular site close to both the M4 and the M40 on the road to Marlow. Close to many tourist attractions and an excellent location for the many festivals and events taking place throughout the year. The site is well placed to visit some interesting places including Windsor Castle, Hampton Court Palace and the city of London. Legoland, approximately 15 miles drive from the site, is a great fun day out for children. The site has a total of 81 predominantly level pitches, 55 on hardstanding and some with shade. All have 16 amp electricity.
Additionally, there are excellent train services to London, taking just over an hour, although at least one change is necessary. This small, popular site close to Henley and the Thames is excellent for short or long stays for couples or families. The ornate stone bridge that spans across the River Thames is a popular landmark. It dates from 1786, though there is evidence of an earlier bridge dating from as early as 1170. There are many antique shops, art galleries and charming boutiques for you to browse. Another fun excursion would be to take a leisurely boat ride on the lovely Thames, travelling as far afield as Marlow or even Maidenhead.
The almost central toilet block provides showers, WCs, and washing facilities in cubicles. Facilities for visitors who are disabled and children. Laundry and recycling bins. Dish washing area. Gas sales. Across the site there are three service points. Motorhome service point and two chemical toilet points. Pets allowed. Dog area. Children’s playground. BBQs allowed gas, charcoal & electric. No late-night arrivals area. Defibrillator. Twin axle caravans accepted. TV reception booster system. Wi-Fi good, charged. Bus stop 300 metres. Train station 2 miles. Waitrose 1 mile. Earliest time of arrival 12noon. Maximum outfit length 9 metres.

From the East take the M4 junction 8/9 onto the A404 and then take the A4130. Cross river bridge into Henley-on-Thames. At the third set of traffic lights (including pedestrian crossing) turn right into road signposted Marlow, Oxford. In 0.25 mile at mini roundabout fork right onto A4155 (signposted Marlow). The site is on the left in about 0.5 mile (500 yards past entrance to Swiss Farm Caravan Site). From the M40: leave at junction 4 onto A404. We recommend not using junction 5 or 6 of the M40, as routes include single-track lanes and steep hills. Turn onto the A4155 (signposted Marlow, Henley). The site is on the right about 7 miles past Marlow (0.5 miles past Toad Hall Garden Centre). Please note, those who do not know the town well are advised not to drive or tow through Reading.Link to campsite location map on google
