Alan Rogers Review
A truly rural park with beautiful, moorland views, you may be lucky enough to glimpse red deer across the valley or see ponies and foals grazing outside the main gate which is adjacent to the moor. Two open, neatly cut fields (level at the top) back onto traditional hedging and slope gently to the middle and bottom where wild flowers dominate. One field provides 10A electricity points and is used for motorcaravans, caravans and tents requiring electricity, the other is for tents. Reception is in the farmhouse – leave your unit by the toilet block and walk down to the farm kitchen to book in.
The pretty village of Winsford is one mile away (footpath from farm) with a post office, shop, pub and restaurant. Mrs Brown has laminated maps available (at a small cost) detailing six walks of varying distances, starting and finishing at the farm. Also available is a list of the wild birds, flowers, etc. to be found on the site. A member of the Countryside Discovery group.
The recently refurbished central toilet block is heated, well equipped and maintained. It includes a toilet, washbasin and shower for visitors with disabilities, washing machine, dryer and iron and tourist information. Gas is available at the farm. Play equipment. Free WiFi over site.

Turn off A396 Tiverton-Minehead road for Winsford. In Winsford village turn left in front of Royal Oak (avoiding ford), continue uphill for 1 mile. Cross cattle grid onto moor and turn immediately left to farm. Caravans should avoid Dulverton – keep to the A396 from Bridgetown.
