Alan Rogers Review
Part of a working, family run farm, this is a simple peaceful park which is ideally located to enjoy the Sussex countryside and coast, just a short distance from Eastbourne. A single, rectangular meadow is split by a line of attractive silver birch trees and provides 66 large grass pitches, all but four with electricity connections. The farm and its rural landscape stretch towards the sea at Pevensey Bay. Beyond the camping field there is a duck pond with grassy surrounds and picnic benches, pens with numerous small animals and pets and a pleasant walk to a fishing lake.
Children are invited to feed the animals (with special food on sale). Within walking distance are the villages of Westham and Pevensey with a choice of pubs and restaurants, as well as Pevensey Castle which has a history spanning 16 centuries. Eastbourne has a promenade, beautiful beaches and a retail complex and cinema at the Sovereign Centre.
The single, central toilet block is traditional in style and very clean. An adjacent building houses showers and toilets for disabled visitors. Laundry facilities. Well stocked farm shop selling local produce. Small animals and pets. Fishing lake (licence required). WiFi throughout (free). Vans, commercial or sign-written vehicles are not accepted.

From the roundabout junction of the A27 and A259 (petrol station) take exit to Pevensey and the castle. Go around the castle walls and into Westham village. At end of high street turn left (B2191), over level crossing and park is on left.
