Alan Rogers Review
Faichemard Farm is an adult only site, idyllically located on the outskirts of Invergarry in the Scottish Highlands. It has been run by the same family since 1935 and visitors can expect a very warm and helpful welcome. There is stunningly beautiful scenery from the 15 level touring pitches, many on hardstanding and all with 10A electricity and its own picnic table.
A few pitches look across a pond towards one of the toilet blocks, while a second block is further up the hillside. There is an abundance of wildlife here, and deer, pine martins, red squirrel and even the occasional golden eagle can be seen.
Nearby Invergarry has a post office, a restaurant and bar in the hotel and a petrol station that sells essential supplies. More comprehensive shopping can be done in Fort Augustus (7 miles). Walkers and cyclists are well catered for with the Great Glen cycle Route and the Great Glen Way close at hand.
