The National Trust owns the Exmouth Country Lodge site, which is a 20-minute’ walk from Exmouth Beach, a 25-minute drive from Crealy Adventure Park and 30 from Exeter. If you seek beaches, stately houses and coastal walks through dinosaur country, this could be just the place for you.

The site is perfect for venturing out around the country and coast. The three-mile-long Exmouth beach is a 20-minute walk from the site, and it feeds into the Jurassic Coast at Orcombe Point 15 minutes down the beach. You can see more of the Devon coastline by picking up the 630-mile Southwest Coast Path at Exmouth Beach or following the Exe Estuary trail from Exmouth to Exeter and over to Dawlish. The site has 80 grass pitches, some with 16amp electric hook-up points. Bell tents, a lodge and a cottage are available to hire. The site was featured on the Channel 4 TV programme “Pitch Perfect."

Directions to Exmouth Country Lodge Campsite

From the end of the A376 at Exmouth, leave the roundabout near the Railway Station at the first exit. Shortly, at the next roundabout take the second exit onto Rolle Road. At the next roundabout continue ahead to a T junction and turn left onto Douglas Avenue. Next turn right onto Maer Road. At the roundabout turn left onto Maer Lane. The site is now on the left.
