Alan Rogers Review

This small touring park nestles in the midst of a 70-acre park with a multitude of tree varieties, brightly coloured flower beds and a charming 12-acre fishing lake. The 12 touring pitches, some with lake views, are on hardstanding, each with dedicated water, waste and 16A electricity connections. Hedging provides some separation. There is also an unmarked grass area for tents. Run by Dungannon Council, the park, which also incorporates tennis courts, football and cricket pitches, lies about one mile south of Dungannon town.

A modern Visitor Amenity Centre houses reception, sanitary facilities, a TV/lounge area and vending machines. Walkers can enjoy three miles of parkland paths which, from the higher ground, command views of the surrounding countryside and Lough Neagh.

Facilities

Sanitary facilities are to the rear of the Amenity Centre and include showers (by token), washbasins, baby changing mat and spacious unit for disabled visitors. Laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Excellent play area. TV lounge. Tennis. Fishing. Walking. Orienteering.
