Alan Rogers Review

Droompark Buitenhuizen is located in the nature and leisure park of Spaarnwoude, which boasts excellent facilities for swimming, canoeing, skiing, golf, riding and much more. The site has around 200 very comfortable bungalows and a separate area with 130 large well shaded pitches of 120 sq.m. each with 10A electricity. Special pitches for caravans have 16A electricity and a TV connection. Cars cannot be parked on the pitches (a large car park is available at the site entrance). A stylish renovated farm building houses a brasserie for lunches and dinners. You can swim in the site’s heated outdoor pool or in a lake (with a sandy beach).

Amsterdam can be easily accessed from the site (less than 30 minutes by train) and has a great wealth of sights of interest. This is a compact city and most of the places of interest can easily be accessed on foot from the main station. Haarlem is also within easy access and the old town still has many buildings dating back to the city’s heritage as capital of the Dutch Republic’s most important province.
