Alan Rogers Review
The word bustling describes this site admirably. Open for a long season, activities are organised on the Ardèche river for much of that time. The site owns its own canoes for hire and after a trip down the gorges you will be met and brought back to the site. Canyoning is organised, as are walks of varying degrees of strenuousness. There are 117 touring pitches, all with 6A electricity, and whilst maybe not the tidiest site in France, Arleblanc is certainly welcoming and good value. The staff are very helpful, and the site would appeal to families with young children and teenagers.
Evening entertainment is provided in July and August and the heated outdoor pool is open until the end of September. There is a good floodlit tennis court and much else. Parts of the main site building housing the bar and restaurant date back to the 13th century.
Three new heated sanitary blocks are well spaced across the site and have hot showers and some washbasins in cubicles. Facilities for disabled visitors. Well stocked shop. Bar, restaurant and good snack bar with takeaway. Large, heated swimming pool (well fenced) and paddling pool. New fenced and gated play area. Small sandy river beach. Special meeting room for large groups. Large screen TV. Evening entertainment for families. Fishing. Mobile homes to rent.
