Alan Rogers Review
Dolswydd is on the edge of a pretty, traditional working farm. A tranquil site with excellent views of the Welsh hills and surrounding area, it has modern facilities and 30 good spacious pitches, mainly on hardstandings, all with 16A electricity connections. The Hughes family extends a warm and friendly welcome to their little park surrounded by hills and wandering sheep, which is ideal as a touring base or for a one night stop, but booking is recommended, especially at peak times, Bank Holidays and during the Victorian Festival (last week in August).
A footpath leads from the back of the site to the rear of the local pub, which offers good, home cooked food.
Facilities
One modern toilet block includes lots of hot water, dishwashing, laundry, and a WC/washroom for disabled campers. Fishing in the river alongside the site (free, but licence required).
