Crealy Meadows is a new park in rural Devon developed by the owners of Crealy Adventure Park and situated adjacent to it. The multi-million pound investment has resulted in a well planned, purpose built park with excellent facilities. At present there are 99 serviced touring pitches (16A electricity, water and drainage) on neatly cut, level grass, and 21 hedged ‘super’ pitches (144 sq.m) with hardstanding. There are also pre-sited lodge tents in superbly themed safari camp and medieval village settings. These are really rather special and very well equipped with woodburning stoves and sinks. The safari tents even boast a sleeping cupboard.
Don’t be surprised to see a knight of King Arthur’s court guarding Camelot village, or a lioness and her cubs on watch beside the safari tents. There is direct gated access to the adventure park by means of pass cards, which saves queueing at the main entrance. There is no doubt that the adventure park is the main attraction at Crealy Meadows and it certainly provides amenities for all the family, including a large animal area with ponies to ride. There is a super indoor adventure zone and, for the more adventurous, an amazing selection of roller coasters and rides, several involving water, and a range of eateries. Exmouth with its sandy beaches is about five miles away.
