Alan Rogers Review
Two miles from the M5/M42 intersection, this site is a stunning surprise, being quiet, peaceful and very pretty with panoramic views of wooded hillsides. The site has partially sloping ground, but site staff are happy to assist where required. The roads through the site are lined with mature trees offering shade. The 95 pitches are mostly level (chocks recommended on some) and all of a good size; 76 have 16A electricity connections and 42 are hardstanding. There is a central grassy area for tents, with some hook-ups.
The modern reception building offers tourist information, a shop, a small library and a larger car parking area at the entrance. This attractive site is a good base for a range of excursions, all within 15 miles. Direct from the site, there is wheelchair access to the top of Clent Hills.
The central sanitary block is heated in cold weather and provide washbasins in cabins, hairdryers, child and parent room and a wet room for disabled campers. It was spotless when last visited. Washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities. Basic supplies in reception. Small play area with rubber safety surface. Gas supplies. Caravan storage. WiFi (charged).
