Alan Rogers Review
From this well kept site a free road train takes guests to Delphi, which was once sacred to the god Apollo and is now the setting for some of the most important monuments of ancient Greek civilisation. The site’s situation on a hill ensures stunning views across a vast olive grove to the Gulf of Corinth beyond. There are 70 pitches with electricity connections (10A). They are well shaded and mostly terraced, which means that everyone can enjoy the views. The site is attractively landscaped with lots of flowers, and round wooden cabins for rent blend in very well with the natural environment. An evening meal on the restaurant’s terrace is a must.
The swimming pool has an adjacent bar and plenty of space around it for sunbathing or relaxing in the shade. Traditional Greek dishes prepared with local produce are served in the campsite restaurant, accompanied by local wines.
