Alan Rogers Review
Located just outside the historic city of Chichester, this large site is a member of the Park Holidays group. Set amidst ten fishing lakes, it is within easy access of a sandy beach and the traditional resort of Bognor Regis. The 115 touring pitches with 16A electricity are on three sides of a large, level and grassy field, the fourth side being used for seasonal units and storage. The central, unmarked space is for tents and caravans with no electric hook-ups and a large, fenced area provides space for sports and organised events for the whole park. The larger part of the park is occupied by 400 holiday caravans and the central entertainment area. There is some road noise.
Chichester is an attractive city, with its 12th-century cathedral of particular interest. The city is also home to the Festival Theatre, one of England’s flagship cultural centres. Bognor Regis was originally a smuggling village but it became popular as a holiday resort in the 19th century.
Two dated toilet blocks are likely to be under pressure at busy times. Facilities for disabled visitors. Shop. Dated bar and snack bar. Entertainment complex. Swimming pool. Fishing. Playing field. Club for children (high season). Mobile homes to rent. WiFi throughout (charged).
The park is well signed on either side of a roundabout at the junction of the A27 and A259. Turning south on Vinnetrow Road, the park is 200 yards on the right.Link to campsite location map on google
