Alan Rogers Review
This is a delightful, tranquil, adult only site and is a fine example of a small, good value touring park. It is a 15-minute walk from a Blue Flag beach and a short drive from some of the attractive villages of the Lincolnshire Wolds. A very warm welcome awaits from Kevin and Sue Lannen whose pride in the park is evident everywhere. The site is level, the grass is neatly trimmed and well drained, and screening is provided by lines of evergreen hedging. There are 40 good sized touring pitches, all with 10A electricity and hardstanding (no tents) and ten with water and waste water drain. A member of the Tranquil Touring Park and Best of British groups.
Buses stop outside hourly, and a shop and pub are within ten minutes walk. Mablethorpe beach is just four miles away and Skegness, with all its popular attractions, is just down the road by car or bus. Other outings by car could include the historic city of Lincoln.
The brick-built toilet block, recently extended and refurbished to a high standard, can be heated and is immaculately kept. Controllable hot showers, hairdryers. En-suite unit for disabled visitors (Radar key). Laundry room with washing machine, spin dryer and tumble dryer. Neat reception and separate tourist information cabin. Gas. WiFi over site (charged).
Sutton-on-Sea is 15 miles north of Skegness and 40 miles east of Lincoln. The site is 1.5 miles south of the town on A52 coast road, with the entrance leading off a lay-by on the east.Link to campsite location map on google
