Alan Rogers Review
Charoland Farm is peacefully located, adults-only touring park based on an award-winning beef cattle and sheep farm, in the hamlet of Greenhalgh in rural Lancashire. Ideal for touring the many Fylde Coast attractions, with arguably Britain’s most famous resort, Blackpool, as well as Lytham St Annes and Fleetwood all within a twelve-mile distance. The site is surrounded by meadows and farmland making this an ideal spot for walks and cycle trails. The touring and camping areas are surrounded by high neat hedges to eliminate external noises and new trees and shrubs have been planted between pitches, to assist in the creation of optimum privacy. All the 10 pitches are firm, with reinforcing mesh installed, and have 16amp metered electric hook-up point. The site was awarded AA Small Campsite of the Year 2020.
The toilet block has showers, wash basins and wc’s. Accessible facility. Outdoor dish washing up point. Chemical toilet point. Freezer service. The BBQ area. Dogs welcome. Within a 15-minute walk is a Greggs, Starbucks, Subway and a supermarket. There are also a number of excellent local pubs serving food and are dog friendly. There are also two large outdoor car boots held regularly throughout the season at weekends (subject to weather) less than a mile away. A small chalet contains a good range of tourist information, and a small supermarket is just a 15-minute walk away. Gated security system.
From M55 Junction 3, take the A585 Fleetwood exit and turn left onto Greenhalgh Lane. The site is on the right.
