Alan Rogers Review
For those who want to be away from the hectic coastal resorts and to take advantage of the peace and quiet of an adults only park, this will be an excellent ‘value for money’ choice. Chacewater has a pleasant rural situation and the site is run with care and attention by Richard Peterken and his daughters Debbie and Mandy. It provides 100 level touring pitches - only two persons per pitch are allowed and tents are not accepted. All pitches have 10A electricity and 90 have hardstanding; they are set in two large fields(slight slope) edged with trees or in small bays formed by hedges. There are 29 serviced pitches (electricity, water and drainage connections) and an area for dog owners.
The modern reception is not at the entrance but through the park to one side in a pleasant courtyard area. Truro is only five miles and there is a good choice of beaches, north and south, within five to ten miles. A bus stop is only 100 yards from the park entrance.
The main toilet block provides well equipped showers and two en-suite units. Laundry room. Second fully equipped block near reception providing roomy showers open direct to outside. Gas supplies. Icepack service. Library and small shop in reception. Only adults are accepted. Max. 1 dog, contact site first. WiFi (charged).
