Alan Rogers Review

This immaculate site, set on the banks of the Weser river and located between Holzminden and Polle, is a credit to its Dutch owners Jan and Astrid Reus. They have owned the site for five years and their passion for making it a great place to stay is evident throughout. There are 128 pitches (118 for touring units) which are arranged on two areas. Pitches on the lower area are on grass and alongside the river bank. All are 120 sq.m. and have electrical connections (10A, Europlug). Upon arrival you are shown to your pitch by Jan and he will connect your electric up for you. Several languages are spoken including English.

Reception is in the main building which also houses the bar where you can enjoy a drink either inside or outside on the terrace. The river is the obvious highlight of the site and bird lovers will not be disappointed. It is a quiet site, perfect for a relaxing holiday and ideal for both couples and families with young children.
