Alan Rogers Review
This site, which is in a former Palace park and was closed for some years, re-opened in 2003 with new facilities and new management. It is now probably the best site in the greater Vienna area, with good public transport links to the city centre and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. With 154 touring pitches with 16A electricity and 42 with water and drainage, the site provides a good base for city sightseeing. With many mature trees and some shade you will find this a peaceful and quiet site. Walking and cycling are popular in the nearby Vienna woods.
Right next door is a Merkur supermarket which is well worth a visit for stocking up, which ever way you are heading.
Excellent modern toilet facilities are clean and well maintained with free showers. Facilities for disabled visitors. Washing machine and dryer. Some cooking facilities. Motorcaravan services. Small play area. Tickets for Schloss Schönbrunn and other attractions sold at reception.

From A2 turn onto A21 towards Linz (if heading north, slip is just past IKEA). Turn off A21 at first exit (Brunn am Gebirge) and head north. Continue on this road to site (well signed) on the right in Atzgersdorf. From the A23 (Süd-Ost Tangene) take Altmannsdorf exit and follow signs.
