Camping Venezuela is a comfortable and well-maintained campsite in Maliakos Bay, right on the beach of Agios Seraphim and at the foot of Mount Knimis. Athens is a few hours away and makes a memorable day trip, as is Delphi. This region is known for its beaches, bird-watching spots, mountain scenery and thermal springs.

Take a boat trip to the neighbouring Lichadonisia islands, enjoy snorkelling, explore the archaeological monuments and go hiking and cycling in the Kallidromos Woods. Oitis National Park. Visit the thermal springs near Kamena Vourla, and admire the breathtaking view of the Maliakos Bay from the 12th c—Metamorphosis Sotiros Monastery over Kamena Vourla’s hill at 310m altitude. You can go back in history at the Monument of Leonidas and the nearby Museum, commemorating the legendary battle of Thermopylae in 480 BC., just 10 km from the campsite.

Hedges and colourful shrubs separate the 90 well-demarcated pitches, and all have access to 220V electricity supply connections with some shade offered by the eucalyptus, poplar and olive trees dotted around the campsite. The campsite has a mini market on-site, a laundry area equipped with two washing machines and a ‘campers kitchen’ if you wish to prepare a quick meal. In the evening, you can treat yourself to a local Greek dinner at the on-site taverna ‘Holevaina’, with a good menu offering local Mediterranean cuisine and seasonal grills.
