Near the pretty mountain-top village of Campell, this new site is perched high on the side of a mountain with breathtaking views of hilltop villages, the surrounding hills and distant sea. With a wholehearted welcome from the owners, the well maintained site promises a real taste of Spain. The pitches, pool, terrace and restaurant all share the views. The 68 average sized gravel pitches (30 for touring) are on terraces and all have 6A electricity and water. Trees and hedges have been planted and now give ample shade. This is a great place to get away from the coastal hustle, bustle and high rise of the beaches.

Ivan, Neus and Irene efficiently run this charming country site. A good time to be here is at the end of October when campers join in the festivities in the local village after the ‘walk with history’ when over a thousand people dine on paella. There are fascinating historic features in the area like the old (now disused) leper colony just a few hundred metres away and the ancient Moorish walk with over 6,500 carved rock steps (from a distance it looks like the Great Wall of China!)

Two sanitary blocks have excellent clean facilities including accessible facilities Washing machines and dryers. Restaurant with pretty terrace (closed Sept). Bar and small pool bar. Outdoor swimming pool (June-Sept). Small entertainment programme in high season. WiFi over site (free). No charcoal barbecues. Torches useful.

Directions to Camping Vall de Laguar

Site is 20 km. west of Xabia/Javea. From A7/E15 exit 62 head to Ondara/Valencia on the N332 and at the roundabout on the Ondara bypass head to Benidoleig/Orba. At Orba turn right and follow site signs.
