Alan Rogers Review
At an altitude of 1,700 feet, this small, quiet site sits in the centre of a beautiful green valley. The only sound is from the birds, and the campsite terraces enjoy excellent views in all directions. The Dutch owners, Hans and Freda Neuteboom, are painstakingly developing the site to the highest possible standards and it is clearly one of the best in the Czech Republic. There are 40 large grass pitches, all with 6/10A electricity. Some are terraced next to the owners’ house. There are ample opportunities for long walks, cycle rides or just sitting back and watching the rural scene change as the day progresses.
The site is popular with mainly Dutch campers, but this will change as more and more realise the beauty of Western Bohemia and want to share in the peace and quiet, and glorious spring weather, that exist here.
The sanitary facilities provide showers and toilets, but maintenance can be variable. Washing machine and spin dryer. Sinks and hot water for dishwashing. Bar and snack bar. Play area. WiFi.

From Klatovy go south on the 27 to Besiny and turn right towards Strazov. Continue on the road towards Desenice/Depoltice for 3 km. then turn left towards Splz/Hajek. The site is alongside the first house on the left.
