Alan Rogers Review of Camping Téorix
Camping Téorix is an accommodation-only holiday centre in southern France, situated to the rear of Marseillan-Plage village some 800 m. from a fine sandy beach. Indeed, Marseillan-Plage has more than 6 km. of sandy beaches with water based activities and a funfair near the campsite. There are shops and restaurants within 200 m. of the site, and markets are frequently organised during the summer. Activities are arranged on site on a regular basis in peak season for children, teenagers and adults. Activities such as karting and tennis are available locally. The site is part of the FranceLoc group with very distinctive play areas and could be noisy in peak season.
Numerous watersports are also possible including sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, scuba diving, jet-skiing and water-skiing. Nearby Marseillan is a former fishing village on the banks of the Etang de Thau where the Canal du Midi terminates. Nature enthusiasts may enjoy the Massif de la Gardiole, a protected natural site covering 5,000 hectares, with numerous trails for the whole family, or the Etang de Bagnas, where flamingos, herons, egrets and hundreds of other birds co-exist on this vast reserve.
Facilities at Camping Téorix
The mobile homes are well equipped with coffee machine, microwave, gas stove, refrigerator and dishwasher. All have showers and WC and a terrace with garden furniture. Air conditioning is available in certain units. Two heated pools including toboggans. Themed adventure play area involving the Carabouille character. Bouncy castle. Minigolf. WiFi around reception (free).

From A9 exit 34 Agde/Bessan take D612 towards Agde/Sète. Continue on D612 through the D912 interchange, continue and cross first roundabout, right at second roundabout signed Marseillan Plage, then first right at small roundabout and site is on the left.
