Camping Stella Mare is located on the shores of the Gulf of Lacona, on the island of Elba. Some of the 127 touring pitches (3A electricity) are on high terraces with excellent sea views. There are many delightfully private, informal pitches, which will suit many campers. Two beaches can be accessed from the site, one in a private cove, the other is the public beach. The small but busy snack bar/takeaway and bar/restaurant complex is at the bottom of the site and enjoys some views of the spectacular sunsets over the lowest row of pitches.
The campsite is on a small, quiet peninsular jutting out from the island into the Mediterranean sea, where it meets the Tyrrhenian sea. There are plenty of walking routes through fragrant lavender and juniper bushes shaded by eucalyptus trees. Car, bicycle and boat hire are available close to the site. Excursions for scuba diving, horse riding and island tours can be arranged at reception.
