This delightful Dutch-owned site lies about 2 km. from the town centre. It is on low lying, level grass, bordered by a river, with trees and shrubs dotted around the 87 pitches. Seasonal units take just 14 pitches leaving 73 for touring units, all with 6/10/16A electricity. One corner of the site is particularly secluded, but the whole place has the feel of a peaceful garden. There is unfenced water on site and a footbridge over the river. The attractive main building houses reception, and a pleasant bistro and with a friendly, family atmosphere.
Leisure activities could include walking or cycling and there is a fishing lake on site. Head a few kilometres west to Bouillon and you can visit its ruined castle and explore the attractive countryside with wooded hills, valleys and meandering rivers on which canoeing is popular. The war memorial and excellent museum at Bastogne to the north-east commemorate the Battle of the Bulge. There are caves in Han, Hotton and Remouchamps and the Euro Space Center in Transinne. For a taste of city life, Luxembourg is less than an hour’s drive down the motorway.
